In a bid to ground himself, perhaps, or simply to create another tether between himself and the city, Jae-Seong was able to pull some strings and be granted a manor of his own-- something he'd never asked about prior. His kin were happy to do so-- oddly so, from his perspective-- but he was nevertheless incredibly grateful. Sequestered up in the mountains, the building sits upon a small lake, providing him ample privacy and an opportune grounds for one of his favorite hobbies: fishing. For the size of the pond, it was remarkably full of life; he didn't quite know why, but it wasn't something he was about to question. Most of the serving staff were provided to him through familial referrals, but the guardsmen he preferred to hire on himself.

He would call the place 'Saebyeog,' a word he'd come to know meant dawn.

Vesuvio descends from a wandering band of Fae, though his parents found themselves enamored with Kalzasi city proper and settled there to make a life for themselves. He is a natural caretaker, fastidious and organized, and these traits lent well to working as an attendant for nobility. And in truth, he quite liked the work-- it was stable and provided him with remarkably good amenities depending on whom he served.

When presented with the opportunity to attend to Jae Seong, the choice was an easy one. He knew that the noble was a wanderer and, for large portions of time, the staff would have the manor to themselves. A good deal, certainly.

When her duties are taken care of, she likes to tend to the gardens alongside Galilea.

Though his upbringing was modest, his talents spoke for themselves, and he's been a sought after chef by nobility for many years. Even so, he is still quite shy; bashful, even, as if afflicted with an imposter syndrome of sorts despite all of his success.

Galilea is the child of a woman who fancies herself a witch of the wilds, living out in the Kalzasern forests. Her father died when she was young from illness. Unfortunate as this was, she is not one to wallow in grief.

As she grew up, she found herself interested in botany, architecture and landscaping-- all of which she was quite good at. Her passions drew her to Kalzasi city itself, and eventually she found herself designing and pruning the gardens of nobility.

Marcella was born into a family who prided themselves for their martial prowess. Many of them were soldiers, many of them mercenaries, but all well practiced with bladework. She possesses a sharp, tactical mind on top of diligently honed swordsmanship.

She, however, was not one for structure, and chose the path of a mercenary. And while walking this path, she'd actually met Jae-Seong, even worked with him once or twice. It was an easy choice for each of them to offer and accept this job.

If asked about his history, all questions will be deflected, misdirected, or ignored. Severo is very happy to be a man of mystery, letting his arcane-touched swordsmanship speak for itself. He is a well respected mercenary, and one that Jae-Seong has worked with over the years.

Perhaps it is a bit unusual an arrangement, but Jae-Seong finds the company of like-minded men more pleasant than anything else. He respects Severo's secrecy, choosing to trust him regardless. Over the years, the mysterious elf has given the noble no reason to question him; he has proven a reliable ally and close companion.

Ginevra d'Tzimiskes

Ginevra descends from a family with no particular predilections. Her mother, a doctor, her father, a researcher. Her, however? She begged her parents to learn fencing as a child, fascinating with the poise and precision required.

Though her parents wished she would've followed them into more academic pursuits, she proved precocious with a blade and developed a fighting style that made the art all the more dancelike. She fights for the thrill of it, accepting hunting jobs and work as a guard, happy to take on whatever opportunities arise.

Enver came from a family of fletchers, archers, and hunters. His name, Rhaq'is, is actually quite well known for the precision of their aerial archery, many of them considered some of city's most impressive bowmen.

The reputation of his family's name puts a lot of pressure on a young Enver; his parents expect much. Maybe it's to flee them, maybe it's to find a quiet place to hone his skills, but when Enver learned of the reclusive Jae-Seong and his secluded manor, he offered his services as huntsman. With his skills, there would always be food and he could accurately pick off any would-be ne'er-do-wells should any try to pick a fight.

Eliseo Talmirónn

Eliseo is an enigma. Their origins are shrouded in mystery, but their skill in wind manipulation fascinates Jae-Seong.

It is not known what draws Eliseo to the mixed-blood noble, but they accepted the man's offer of work, and are happy to provide guidance for him with regards to his own journey as an Elementalist.

Sorry this took ages to make! I am painfully indecisive when it comes to making NPCs because I love making stuff like this, lol.

I wasn't sure what to do with their skills necessarily so I just gave them 8 total and didn't indicate the tier; let me know how you want me to scale their skills in terms of potency/number.
