The notes he plucked fell down a chromatic into a minor tone, and he gently set the instrument aside while Arkænyn considered a duel with Raxen. Finn didn't know if it was that divine hunger for power that did it, but the idea of him triumphing over a demigod sounding so, well, hot.

He chuckled, rearranging the fall of cloth over his lap.

"Perhaps you will best Raxen in a duel of swords, and I Syren in a duel of songs. Do you think Ramses will be up to a duel with the shaman?" He paused. "But if you do find yourself going into a ring with Raxen, I will petition to our Rex Regum to lend you His sword. And then I will surely have to write a few epics praising your valor and skill."

But ah, work.

"Aye. I do believe that platinum prince is on my agenda. I haven't figured Alikhandrian out... as much as a mere man might figure out any dragon. I have been introduced to all those who rest in Sorokyn, but I have had more interaction with the Crownwyrm than the rest of his flight. I suppose that is due to being his son-in-law..." He laughed fondly. "Every once in a while, one of my parents remembers that their son is married to a dragon king and I think they very nearly fall over." He paused, considering. It might have been wiser for Arvælyn to wed Arkænyn. Even if they weren't likely to breed an heir to both thrones, they would have, at least, been more united.

Of course, he wasn't going to suggest that, and now it would require a great deal of royal blood spilt before the Luxian throne called for Arkænyn's pert little bottom...

"They are like kings and queens. Zalkyriax is the king of kings. The Rex Regum Draconis. Even Aværys is wary of the Crownwyrm. My God has taken me to another plane of existence. My father-in-law took me to another world lit by another star, where the rest of them abide. I haven't yet taken Alikhandrian's measure yet, as I said. I wonder if it will be easier to understand him. Just as the Twins' period of incarceration gave Them time to think over what They considered important and how They want to go about achieving that. I think... immortality... the more one experiences it... changes one's views of... everything. Including mere mortals."
