Alikhandrian seemed a past master at dropping delicious breadcrumbs, but Finn did not ask more about his hints. The dragon would share more fully if and when it was appropriate to do so, he was quite certain.
Finn rose too at the dragon's rising, finishing his own dregs and setting the glass aside. It was a sign of polite respect, and he would walk the platinum wyrm out or allow him to depart on his own terms as he preferred.
"We ought to have a postmortem after each session," he suggested. "The better to work in tandem. I am grateful for your aid, and if there is aught I can do to aid you in your work, you have but to say the word."
