Mae Ealoeth is a nearly entirely human appearing half-fae. Her long dark brown hair, which delicately ends at her lower back, is always found impeccably groomed and styled to the latest trends. Many of which she has been credited with throughout Kalzasi. The seemingly regal half-fae woman known to most as ‘The Rose of Kalzasi’ has both a grace and an edge to her stride, her heels often clacking on the marble flooring of the Museum she curates that sends shivers through the hearts of all who hear it. She keeps up appearances as best she can, though, and many visit the grand building simply to catch a glimpse of the ultra-rare smile that in itself is it's own magic. Many even rumor if you get The Rose to smile that you'll be graced with ten years of good luck. As a nearly expressionless woman, she keeps her emotions close to her heart lest they be used against her. All in all, this status of a noble lady lives life through the guise of perhaps a dangerous level of perfection.
As a half-fae'ethalan of the Court of Frost, Mae inherited more of her mothers human genes than she did her fathers, at least when it came to appearances. While she doesn't have much in the way of fae'ethalan visual traits, she is able to change her hair color to a frost blue at a moments notice, though it is often tied with her mood. Strike her the wrong way, make the lady angry, and one is certain to be met with her blue hair and dagger-like light blue eyes that nearly seem like ice themselves. And while most have not seen it, her maids and butlers have seen the horrors of severe depressive, anxious episodes that cause frost to creep across her skin and even freeze the ground beneath her feet.

Feared by men, idolized by women, and intimidating all others. Every rose has it's thorns, and this is no exception when it comes to Mae. This beautifully blooming flower is a fierce business woman- trading and exhibiting art and historical artifacts from every corner of Kalzasi and beyond with her prickly personality in tow. Where guests and acquaintances of hers are often graced with her kindness (if you could call fake smiles and societal etiquette kindness), those unacquainted often find themselves staring down the barrel of a gun that is Mae's personality. Sharp witted, quick tongued, and relentless, she snakes her way through conversations like water through a stream. Effortless, nearly.
In special circumstances the woman uses the charm and Mesmer magic taught to her by her mother and mentor to entice necessary parties to her desires. Be it new artifacts for her museum or a political connection, Mae knows just the right time to brush her shoulder against an unaware Lord, or or pull her lips into a devious smirk that in and of itself says 'dare to find out?'.
But late at night Mae can be found drinking dry wine and musing over the countless people who had looked at her as a tool. A thing. A daughter. Determined to make her place in the world and never be simply a means to an end for anyone, the half-fae woman keeps her emotions and her goals hidden behind so many walls that even she may not know what they are anymore.

As the first born and eldest of seven siblings, Mae grew up with expectations having their own gravity. Heavy, but not without reward. The Eloeth family is one of the most prominent families in Kalzasi. Her father, a Frost Court fae'ethalan from noble history, and her mother, a human woman born of noble blood herself, met and fell in love against the wishes of the Court of Frost. But their marriage shined a light of unity, strength, and harmony for the rest of Kalzasi. And together, throughout the years of history being made around them they staked their claim in the land as the owners and curators of Kalzasi's finest museum, and the home of the Antiquities Society; The Elysian Halls. There they displayed the best and worst of humanities history. Thanks to the success of their museum and the widespread knowledge of their union, the Eloeth's have made a name for themselves and grown their reputation as one of the most respected families in Kalzasi. And in the 97th year of the Age of Steel, the family had their first of seven children of this generation: Mae. Mae's entire life was spent in high society. Between attending university at 14, learning Mesmer magic by 16, attending high-class parties, galas, political gatherings, and even royal events, and the countless trips to other noble families home, Mae was left without a single day's break. Her parents were ruthless in their efforts to educate her, and often commented on how she would be expected to climb to even greater heights than they had.

Following the passing of her grandmother in 115 AoS and her 18th birthday, each respective sibling was thrust out into the world with their own prospects and instruction from their parents. While most are in some prestigious school or mentoring under different mages around the world, Mae was left with her own trial Kalzasi: Become the curator of the Elysian Halls. And In five years time, should she succeed in making the museum twice as profitable as it had once been, her parents have agreed to pass on management and ownership to her.

And now that she is on her own in the city, while the rest of her family travels the world, nobility is not all that surrounds her. At every turn there is a person looking to snatch some of her own connections or wealth from her, or get on her good side (though it's rumored she doesn't even have one) for political and societal favor. Many thought her weak or not yet ready for such a task as managing the cities greatest historical halls, but she had other plans than to let their greed take her over. And her mother taught her well. Like a rapidly approaching tsunami Mae's piercing personality came in without warning. Men and women who tried to will her, woo her, or trick her into giving up her secrets or giving in to bad trades found themselves awkwardly stumbling for excuses as she pulled the rug of conviction out from under them with her icey stare and sharp tongue. Word spread like wildfire, and within six months she had established herself as a ruthless business woman with a discerning eye for art and artifacts, and a skill for trades that far outplayed that of the most devilish crooks. And in the first two years of her curating she had also, with the approval of her parents, made drastic changes to the layout of the museum itself that not only increased profits, but also increased the cities happiness with new fauna in their gardens, displays of art alongside history, and an entire floor dedicated to the creation, restoration, and appraisal of art and artifacts.

But her brash, cold behavior did more than just put her on a pedestal of business, and rumors flew faster than dragons. And that same thorny personality coupled with her goddess-like beauty became the very reason that people from all walks of life now know her as The Rose of Kalzasi. Now at 23 Mae has nearly perfected the game and hunt of historical artifacts and unique art, and now all she needs to do is grow her empire of a collection into the worlds finest museum. Maybe then mother and father will be proud.

Kalzasi's Largest Historial Museum & Gallery

Established in the 93rd year of the Age of Steel, the Elysian Halls is Kalzasi's largest Historical Museum & Gallery and home to the Antiquities Society. Originally build simply as a historical museum, in the first year of her curating, and with the approval of her parents who still own it, Mae ordered the hall to be reconstructed nearly entirely. Gone were the pristine white walls and simple displays that reminded one of a temple, and on came a lavish dining hall, an outdoor garden, and an Art hall that she named 'The Hall of Creation'. While it had taken nearly a full year to complete it's construction, once finished the museum rose in popularity so quickly that people from all over the country flocked to see what it had to offer.

Every season the exhibits in the Hall of Remembrance change, while the Hall of Creation changes monthly. It is well known that one who has their work displayed in the Hall of Creation will be able to sell nearly even just one of their artworks to collectors for thousands of gold. Some have even made out with enough money to never have to work one more day in their life. But regardless of if one is an artist or not, most view the museum nearly as important as the palace itself, and not a day goes by without it's halls being flooded with interested, awestruck eyes.

Some past exhibits in the Hall of Remembrance include:
Shipwrecks from the Age of Sundering
      History of Hearthstones
        The Lost Tales of Geleros

Some past exhibits in the Hall of Creation include:
Artist: Juniel Gibrtiz - Enchanted Sculptures
Artist: Keith Lorden - Portals into Paintings
Weapon Smith: Haellel Numo - Swords Made of Water
