PERSONALITY
Ursula is everything a young woman of her station ought to be, or that’s the idea, anyway.
She’s all smiles, quick and fleeting. Charming, of course, but a sort of charm that cools, there isn’t much warmth to her. She’s immaculate in her dress, obsessively so. Her image, her reputation, is something she fiercely protects. It’s one of the few things she believes she can completely control.
Ursula is grounded by her reality, by the expectations set upon her. She knows her place.
Or, at least, she thinks she does.

History
The only daughter of Admiral George Fletcher, a senior officer with the Riverland Corps, and Olivia Fletcher née Carter, a shipping magnate heiress, Ursula grew up wanting for little.
Well, no. Ursula wanted everything. She wanted songbirds and her parents gifted her a gilded aviary. Ursula wanted diamonds and so, she had those, too. It was easiest to satisfy her, then, when she was young.
It was when she was older that she proved difficult.

No wasn’t a word allowed her, Ursula soon discovered. She wasn’t just hers. She was, first and foremost, a Fletcher. There were expectations. There were appearances to keep. Legacies, her father explained, were costly things to maintain. The individual gave everything for the whole.
It would be her duty to see what she kept for the future of their house.

The House of Fletcher claims roots that extend back to when Zaichaier’s ruling class was determined by birthright, instead of money.
