Hello, I'd like to request approval to begin a quest to become a lich, Masagh is a Highborn Ghoul whose entire goal has been to create a sanctuary for the undead. He disagrees with his House's approach and wants to take more active measures in pursuit of his goal and I'd like the first step to be lichdom. I know this hasn't been finished as far as development but I plan on this being a longer character arc anyway. Just wanted to get the request out there. Let me know what you need from me.

I've followed your plots, and Masagh has reasonable chances of embarking on the path to lichdom. Unlike other paths, becoming a lich is an active thing and does require a certain amount of time IC to undertake. Because of this I will work with you to create an series of thread outlines/prompts to get you set on the right path.

Note that Liches are the product of magic, specifically world magics such as Necromancy. If Masagh does not have the required skills or skill levels, he will need to work with another PC or NPC for different steps of the process. This will be ironed out as we go. For now DM me on discord and we will start outlining, and will use this thread to archive the plan.
