Ounokt Nora

The Ounokt Nora villages have developed a symbiotic relationship with this flock and the land. The villagers protect the tree and the Ci'uvan from attacks on the ground and help protect their egg nests which are laid upon the grasslands, and in exchange the Ci'uvan are partners in the sky. The warriors of Ounokt are known for their Ci'uvan riding and flying skills, and they have lived this way for hundreds of years.
The Chieftain of Ounokt Nora wields the Vonai G'uvi, an older name that loose translates to Wind Singer, a great Chakram, carved from the bones of the Primal known as Gurah, aligned with the Wind Elemental Plane, who used to make Nora its home. Now Ounokt Nora and Ouno'uve have claimed that territory, driving away any other Primals from taking it over.
The villagers of Ounokt Nora hunt, fish, and gather food as needed, they are not agriculturalists nor do they have any need for it, especially with how quickly plants grow and grow back in Ecith. They are wood and bone workers, mapmakers and scouts with their flying, and warriors who largely specialize in the Chakram that their Chieftain wields.
Ounokt Nora was founded during the Age of Dreams, after the Primal Gurah was slain by the first chieftain, Pogar. She forged the Wind Singer under the direction and guidance of the Dragon Gods that came to assist Akrivar in Ecith, and by its power, began the protection of the great Oktai tree and of Nora itself. The village is typically only a few hundred in populous at any given moment. They live a simple, peaceful life. Their chieftain's primary duty is to protect them, and by extension, the rest of the settled lands of Ecith from the Shadow Viper, Vip'uvi, a Primal who regularly attempts to lay claim to the territory of the former Primal Gurah.
