Description: A delicious fleshy citrus fruit that is not unlike a grapefruit and lemon crossed. Tart and extremely liquid laden these aromatic fruits are a popular treat for most denizens of ecith from bats to elephants to orks its sought after. The fruit is a hard and dull yellow until it is ripe at wich point the fruit balloons out and the stretchy flesh becomes pink and translucent as its stretched to capacity with tart nectar.
Biome Role: Common fruit in many locations
Diet: Lots and lots of water, ambient Aether often sourced from dragon bones that scatter the ancient jungle.
Aging & Reproduction: The fruit begins to sprout on Abjuju trees from their fifth year onward. living for up to around 150 years producing fruit all that time. a lack of harvest is always a death knell for the trees. The seeds of the Abjuju fruit lie just beneath the hard stem and is often discarded with it, though it is hardy enough to survive even the most acidic digestive juices of some of the larger herbivorous.
Size: Large, most fruits weighing in between a half a pound to a pound and a half, though the greatest of Abjuju trees with roots woven into dragon bones buried into a spring is said to produce two to three pound fruits.
Abilities and Features: The Fruit is refreshing and has a fast acting effect in restoring a rather immediate if minor amount of energy. While this fruit does not increase ones aether when eating it, it does seem to make those who ingest it more susceptible to ambient aether while also increasing the rate at which their own personal stores regenerate. This effect is more noticeable in overnight
usage or usage on the magically depleted. It would need to be concentrated or treated with alchemy to have any readily restorative effects, naturally you'll only see minor effects as ones body slowly digests the fruit.
Cultural Significance (If applicable): The people of Wawari Bobul drink the juice regularly and consider it a staple of their diet. Furthermore they are the only village that currently makes mass batches of wine from it.
