Hilana had had a busy day so far. She had taken Finny for a picnic lunch, having commandeered a few hours with one of her closest friends before he would likely be setting off to wherever it was he needed to go. They'd had a good time in the desert by the Delta; she had wanted to show him a few things closer to Tertium. There was plenty of wildlife for them to enjoy their outing, and lots of trees and shade. It was closer to her family's estate, and while Hilana had promised herself she would try to have a better relationship with her family, she wasn't about to spend her birthday with them. They were not that close.
She had finished off her afternoon in Sweet Remedies, and headed home, intending to see if Lia and Kalor wanted to go out on the town and enjoy a dinner, or if they wanted to stay in. Hayima'el had been brushed and groomed and given all kinds of treats, and now she and her pythons headed inside to get washed up and see how the evening was going to go. And it was much to her surprise that there was already the smell of food when she got in there - Lia was not one to cook, not beyond maybe a few basic things that Hilana had shown her, and this was definitely not what seemed to be in the kitchen. "Salve," she called, setting her bags and baskets down.
"Salve, we're in here," Lia called back from the kitchen as Kalor came walking towards her on steady steps. Constant practice had improved his efforts in the golem body that Sivan had so painstakingly crafted to house him. And it definitely showed.
"Hilana, hi, hello, Hilana," Kalor greeted her. His hand waved to her, and Hilana waved back, letting him take one of her fingers to lead her back into the kitchen. "Salve, salve, salve."
